The snowsports industry is in a time of unprecedented change, but also unrivalled opportunity. With the global travel market forecasted to grow by 16% by 2022 (source: Mintel, WTM) and the adventure, specialist, and health/wellness segments to grow even more, up to 22% by 2025, there is an enormous opportunity to both grow participants in winter sports, and grow overall visitation to the mountains through new and diversified product offering.
LISTEX 2019 will explore both the threats and opportunities facing our industry, and help all organisations within snowsports manage the threats, and exploit the opportunities.
We hope you will join us at the LISTEX Summer and Winter Exchanges in 2019 so we can work together as an industry to achieve these aims.
The LISTEX Summer Session brings together lessons and reflections from the season just past, as well as providing some earning insights into 2019/2020 and the chance to begin contracting and product planning for the winter.
Taking place on Wednesday May 1st 2019, this year’s LISTEX Summer Exchange follows the same format as our two-day Winter Exchange. The Summer Exchange is a one-day event packed full of networking, Forum sessions and theTrade Exchange (pre-scheduled meetings between Buyers and Suppliers). Also included is a free skiing & snowboarding session and evening dinner and drinks.
The theme for LISTEX 2019 is ‘Opportunity’
