Britain’s best slalom skier and multiple Olympian Dave Ryding has produced a series of ski fitness videos for Snowsport England, in association with LISTEX research partner Sport Pursuit and David Lloyd Health Clubs.
“Fitness and conditioning is obviously a huge part of my daily routine and I know how crucial it is in staying injury free and getting the most out of your skiing”, said three-time Olympian Dave Ryding.
“When Snowsport England, who helped me get into skiing when I was younger, suggested the idea of working together to produce a ski fitness video I jumped at the chance to pass on my knowledge.
Dave Ryding has worked tirelessly with David Lloyd Clubs to enure all three videos are tailored to every level of skier.
“As well as putting the time in ahead of your holiday to get fit and strong, your days off are just as important. Active recovery is a vital part of your preparation. You can do mobility work on your days off to aid recovery and help you keep injury free and ready for your next strengthening session – then ultimately your time on the slopes!”
