Paul Russell from Ski Solutions is attending LISTEX 2012 as a buyer.  We recently caught up with him to find out more about his interest in LISTEX:

• Could you give us a brief explanation of your role at Ski Solutions?

As Product Manager, I manage our relationships and contracts with key land and air suppliers worldwide and communicate our product offering to our Sales and Marketing teams

• Why are you attending LISTEX 2012?

I’ve attended a similar function in North America called Mountain Travel Symposium for a number of years.  I’ve always found this structure to be massively helpful in solidifying existing relationships, and creating new ones.  It’s possible to consolidate a large number of meetings in a short period of time

• What do you see as the key advantages of holding a trade show for the industry, as well as a consumer show?

Pre-allocated meeting slots for buyers and suppliers offers a far better structure than searching for colleagues at a consumer show.  A forum and environment to speak business rather than trying to find a table and space somewhere at a show is a massive advantage.
